REACH info

HELLO EVERYONE,

FYI!
230 kids participated at the CBS, Thursday June 25, 30 on the R.E.A.C.H. ( Basketball), 165 children accepted Christ in Binangonan, 15 for the REACH basketball, yesterday in Navotas there were 100 people attended the crusade and 15 plus 5, accepted the Lord YES!
We started and implemented the REACH Ministry which stands for Recreational Evangelism For Abundant Community Harvest started from the smallest barangay in Cainta headed by our volunteer chairman who is our accidental replacement driver Pastor Bernie Cruz who happens to be our translator bodyguard, cook, MC, Money exchanger, venue facilitator, alter ego of Pastor Norman, Laundry man at night and many other countless Task. The story of how things unfolded can be read in MICAH 5:2 Barangay Sta. Rosa is the smallest Barangay in Cainta , they have a recently converted Barangay Captin who is on fire for the Lord and extremely concern whose heart is for the salvation of the youth, as Wayne P. put it " Men of the dedication commitment and heart that of Barangay Captain Badoy Reyes and Pastor Bernie Cruz is what this country need to turn it around ". P. I. has 4.7 Million Muslims we can use the REACH Program/ Ministry to reach the Youth, as Martin has coined it "your future is in Reach Basketball". The REACH acronym was the result of the brain storming of Pastor Alex, Pastor Bernie, Martin, and Wayne. I believe we are called to do this because everything is falling into places and God has placed ahead of us , PAstors, Lay Leaders and even Barangay Captains and non- believers to participate, this will be bigger than what we anticipated. Mobilize God's Army. This is what we were called for to do!!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY! KEEP PRAYING FOR US!
WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me (Luke 9:23 NKJV).

In His Name,
Jing A.

We're coming home!! Thank you to all!

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to go back home.

I'm thankful that the mission went so well! Glad/sad that it's over (Hard-tiring-faithful days but filled with joy of doing things for God; bonding with the locales there in Binangonan, but having to leave them; missing the comforts of home (Never take anything for granted because we have so much in the States while there are people here in the PI who have so little); missing loved ones and friends at home; etc).

Thank you so much to all those who supported us here in the PI with prayers, finances, donations, friendship, and etc. It was well needed and appreciated!

Praise God for the many blessings that happened on the trip and for you! We couldn't have done it without you :)

As we leave please continue to pray:
- for our partners here in the Philippines as they continue to do the work of the Lord here in this country: Pastor Norman and Pastor Bernie. May God continue to bless their lives, the task at hand, and give them the energy, resources, and wisdom from God to do it all.

- for the new believers in Christ. May they continue their new journey with Christ with steadfast strength from God and support from fellow Christians. May God protect and guide them.

- for continued strength and encouragement to the Christians here in the PI doing God's work. May they overflow with blessings from the Lord, uplift each other in the faith, and gain more people for Christ!

- for our continued safe arrival back to the States and our health.

Thank you again and we can't wait to be back with you in person!
God bless and see you soon :) Trina

Mom send toilet paper!

In Manila they don't really have toilet paper. In some places outside the bathroom (aka Comfort Room aka CR) they have a vending machine where you can buy toilet paper if you have enough money. But everywhere you "go" there are always these things that look like a child's plastic toy cooking pot (called the tabo). While here I've found that these are personal cleaning devices. I thought it was weird that each CR had its own little water spout. Evidently the people of the Philippines use these pots and water spouts as toilet paper to help keep themselves clean. Some of the reasons why they don't have toilet paper is because its too expensive to buy it over and over. Another reason why is because some of their toilets don't really flush. Well, with that said, Mom can you send me some toilet paper...I ran out.
